Who can access the ePaper?
The ePaper is exclusively available to Financial Times newspaper subscribers and Premium FT.com subscribers.
How do I log in?
If you are a newspaper subscriber and want to access the ePaper you must first register with FT.com. To register, simply click the edition you would like to read and at the sign in page, click on Register and validate your access now' and follow the sign up process. We will send you an email to confirm your email address. Click on the ‘Continue reading’ link in the email and you will be returned to the ePaper sign in page. You will now be asked to enter your Customer Reference Number/FT Account Number and postcode/zip code to validate your subscription. The validation of your subscription will only be required once.
Where can I find my Customer Reference Number?
If you are a newspaper subscriber, you can find your Customer Reference Number/FT Account Number and postcode/5-digit zip code on the welcome letters and emails we sent when you first subscribed to the FT newspaper. You can also find it on any invoices we have sent to you. Depending on your location, your Customer Reference/FT Account Number may be up to 10 digits or a combination of up to 10 numbers and letters ending FT + a letter + a number. If you cannot find this number, please e-mail help@ft.com with your full name and address.
When is the ePaper available?
The FT ePaper is available daily from 5am UK time.
Can I access the ePaper on my tablet?
The ePaper web app is optimised for Apple iOS devices (iPad and iPhone). You can add the FT ePaper web app icon to your Home Screen for easy access by following these simple steps.
1. Type 'ftepaper.ft.com' into your browser.
2. Select the edition you wish to access i.e. ‘UK’ or ‘Europe’.
3. Todays ePaper will launch.
4. Select ‘Add to Home Screen’ from the tools menu.
5. You can now launch the ePaper from your Home Screen.
How do I download today’s edition on my iPad
or iPhone for offline reading?
When viewing the ePaper on an Apple iOS device, click on the down arrow located on the top right hand side of the menu bar to download today’s edition.
How do I download today’s edition to my desktop?
When viewing an edition of the ePaper click on the Save icon, and select Download Newspaper PDF.
How do I access archive content from my desktop
and my Apple iOS device?
Previous editions of the Financial Times newspaper can be viewed under the Archive section on the ePaper homepage. Simply select a region and select ‘Browse Archive’ to select a specific date.
Why is the FT ePaper webapp only accessible on
iOS compatible devices?
The FT ePaper app is rolling out first on iOS compatible devices but we are looking to expand to other devices soon
